Our Bear Sleepover and Teddy Bear Picnic

Our class bear, Honey Bear, invited all of our Teddy Bears to sleep over at school. Then she asked them to stay for a Teddy Bear Picnic. Only Bears Allowed!

So we tucked our teddy bears under their blankets and said good night. The bears were all ready for their sleep over.

Aren't they cute!

When we arrived on Thursday...our bears were GONE!
Where could they be?

We were left with only blankets, binoculars...and a note!

We followed bear tracks...

...out of the classroom

...and over to our Care partners.
We found one of our bears!

We continued our search...high and low!

Mr. Quinn had two bears in his office.

The bears scared Mrs. Hubbs!

Mrs. Carduner didn't know the bears were hiding in her office!

More bears in the Library!

Only two bears left to find.

One bear in the Grade One classroom!

We found our last bear, Honey Bear, in her cave.
We think she is hibernating!

"Going on a picnic...leaving right away,

If it doesn't rain we'll stay all day!"

We had to wear our bear disguises at the Teddy Bear Picnic.

We ate our "bear" snacks and watched a bear movie about Corduroy.

We are glad our bears are back!

Do you think ALL the "Bears" had fun at the Teddy Bear Picnic?

Ready for a Bear Sleep Over

We started to get ready for our bears sleepover.
We made a blanket to keep our bears cozy!

"Boo Boo" Bears

Honey Bear invited a friend to play and poor
Bonnie Bear got hurt. She bumped her eye on
a butterfly; she bumped her knee on the Chicka
Chicka Boom Boom tree; and she bumped her
hand on a pail of sand. Poor Bonnie Bear!
Luckily, our favorite Paramedic was in the
neighborhood and he came to the rescue!
He helped us with our bears and then he
showed us his ambulance. It is a special
ambulance just for children (and bears, too!)
