Winter Walk

We went for our winter walk.
We saw lots of signs of winter...
bare trees, snow, tracks, birdfeeders, snow shovels,
sleds, cords to warm up the cars, people in
warm parkas and toques. We even saw a
POLAR BEAR!
Can you catch a snowflake on your tongue?
We said "Hello" to our Oak tree,
but he was sleeping.
His branches were bare...all the
leaves have fallen off.

We made some lovely snow angels!

Then back to the classroom for some
yummy hot chocolate! We made patterns
with our marshmallows before we ate them!

Painting with our Care Partners

We love it when our Grade 3 Care Partners come to visit.
They traced around our bodies.
Then we painted on our winter clothes
and the winter activity we love to do.
We had skaters, snowball throwers
and snowman builders!

Thanks Grade 3 for your help!
