St. Patrick's Day

Well, that sneaky little leprechaun, Sean O'Shea
came into our classroom on St. Patrick's Day!
He played with our toys and walked through
some paint; had a swim in our water table; and
made a big mess!

He left us a note to say sorry and to tell us
he had lost his magic shamrocks while he was playing.
We searched high and low and gathered them up.
Then we put them in our pot of gold; said our magic words;
added a little leprechaun dust and abracadabra, alakazam
they turned into pieces of the rainbow!

We ate green fruits and veggies and
drank lucky leprechaun juice!
We also had some lucky
shamrock cookies!

Leprechauns have pointed ears...do you
see any leprechauns here?

Star Lab

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

We went to visit STAR LAB

with our Grade 3 Care-Partners.

We were all very brave

when we had to crawl through a dark tunnel

to get inside.

Then we visited the stars and

heard stories about the constellations.

We found Orion's belt and his dogs,

and our favorite Big Bear!

We also found a red star named Beetlejuice!

Thanks Mrs. Thomson!

Making Sno-Globes with our Care-Partners

We made Penguin Sno-Globes
with our Grade 3 Care-Partners!

We started with a jar
and three pieces of plasticene.

Then we added water and glitter for snow.
